TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Georgia Tech softball (22-13) dropped a hard fought game at No. 4 Alabama (34-1) on Wednesday night to finish out its six-game road trip. Tech finished the road trip 4-2.
With no score in the top of the third, NCAA and ACC hit leader Breanna Roper doubles to right center, signaling around junior Rebecca Prairie to put the Jackets on the board first at 1-0.
Holding the 1-0 lead into the top of the fourth, freshman Bailee Zeitler doubles to right center, scoring sophomore Skye Webb from second to move the tally to 2-0.
