BLACKSBURG, Va. – Despite outhitting the Hokies 10-5, Georgia Tech softball (14-8, 0-1 ACC) fell to RV/RV Virginia Tech (17-3, 1-0 ACC) 5-1 on Saturday afternoon in the Atlantic Coast Conference opener.

Freshman Bailee Zeitler went three-for-three with two singles and a double.
Junior Cameron Stanford hit into a fielder’s choice, bringing in Zeitler from third to end the shutout at 5-1 in the top of the seventh.
