THE FLATS – The first 1,000 fans entering the doors for Georgia Tech’s sold-out Atlantic Coast Conference game against Virginia Tech Saturday will be eligible to receive a bobblehead honoring former Yellow Jackets’ star guard, Iman Shumpert. The Saturday matinee against the Hokies is set for a noon tipoff.

Purchase tickets to remaining games

Fans will need to adhere to the following procedures to guarantee themselves one of the bobblehead figurines.
● Upon arrival, the first 1,000 fans (general public & students) will receive a voucher for a bobblehead.
● Staff will be stationed at all three gates distributing the vouchers.
● If you have a voucher, you are guaranteed a bobblehead.
● There are two areas inside McCamish to redeem your voucher at section 103 & section 115.
● You must have a voucher to redeem for a bobblehead (limit one per person).
● You must pick up your bobblehead by the end of the first half.

Shumpert played for the Yellow Jackets from 2008-11, earning All-ACC and ACC Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2011. He was chosen 17th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks, eventually traded to Cleveland in 2015, helping the Cavaliers to an NBA title in 2016. He was recently dealt to the Sacramento Kings.

Georgia Tech’s annual Letterwinners Game will be played on the main floor of McCamish Pavilion following the Virginia Tech game.

The Virginia Tech game is the fifth consecutive home game to sell out for the Jackets, the first time that has happened since all 13 games of the 2007-08 season sold out at Alexander Memorial Coliseum. The most sellouts in a season for Tech since McCamish Pavilion opened had been four in 2011-12, the Yellow Jackets’ first season in the building.

Single-game tickets are still available for Tech’s last two home games on March 1 vs. NC State and March 3 vs. Wake Forest.
March 1 vs. NC State (8 p.m.) – Isma’il Muhammad Dunk Posters
March 3 vs. Wake Forest (12 p.m.) – B.J. “Respect Your Elder” T-Shirts, Senior Day
