THE FLATS – A fast-rising junior player with a five-star rating by the Tennis Recruiting Network, Daniel Yun enrolled at Georgia Tech with a national ranking of No. 46, No. 6 in Georgia.
An excellent athlete and mover on the court with an excellent work ethic, Yun played 13 matches in the fall and has seen action in two dual matches and the MLK Invitational this spring. He teamed with fellow freshman Elijah Melendez to win the consolation draw in the B division at the Georgia Tech Invitational and went 3 and 2 as an individual at the Bulldog Scramble.
Last summer, he reached the quarterfinals of the Tuscaloosa ITA Summer Circuit event in doubles but lost in the round of 32 in singles. He went on to win twice in the consolation draw. He led Lassiter High School to the regional title and the state finals in 2014.
