THE FLATS – Georgia Tech volleyball signed Kodie Comby from Houston, Texas to a National Letter of Intent, head coach Michelle Collier announced Thursday. Comby will graduate early from Cypress Falls High School and join the Yellow Jackets in January 2016.

Kodie Comby, a middle blocker, attends Cypress Falls High School in Cypress, Texas. Comby earned first team all-district honors as a junior and was named to the all-tournament team at Junior Nationals with her club team. Comby played three years of high school volleyball, before focusing on her club career with Willowbrook during her senior year.
“We are very excited for Kodie’s arrival in January,” Collier said. “The fact that she will graduate early from high school speaks volumes about her academic efforts. She has played for very strong high school and club programs, and has received tremendous training. We expect her to make an immediate impact in our program and be a wonderful ambassador of Georgia Tech volleyball.”
