THE FLATS – The roster for the Georgia Tech celebrity slow-pitch game against the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team (WWAST) is set. The GT Celebs take on the WWAST at Mewborn Field on Sunday at 11 a.m. Admission is free, but donations benefitting the WWAST are encouraged.
“What the Wounded Warriors are able to do is just so humbling and it’ll just be a great event for anybody to see,” said head coach Shelly Hoerner. “Hopefully a lot of Georgia Tech student-athletes and fans will be out watching the game.
