1. Georgia Tech hits the road for its final non-conference tilt on the road, visiting Middle Tennessee State on Thursday. Tip is slated for 7:30 p.m. EST in the Murphy Center. Fans can listen live on WREK 91.1/WREK.org.
2. Georgia Tech and MTSU have met twice previously in program history, with Tech taking both decisions. The non-conference foes last met in 2011 in Murfreesboro and the Yellow Jackets won 58-47. The all-time series began in Atlanta in 2010.
3. Georgia Tech fell to 9-2 on the season, dropping just its second game of the season at Alabama last Saturday. Zaire O’Neil led the Yellow Jackets with 17 points. The Jackets are now 1-1 in true road games this season.
4. Freshman Chanin Scott has put up consistent numbers in each of her starts this season. Scott has scored in double-figures that last four contests and is second on the team in rebounding, averaging 5.0 rpg.
5. Head coach MaChelle Joseph is in her 14th season on The Flats and carries an all-time career record of 261-164. Joseph is the all-time winningest coach in program history and holds the highest winning percentage in Yellow Jacket history at 61.4 percent.

LAST TIME THEY MET
The Yellow Jackets and Blue Raiders last met in Murfreesboro on Dec. 11, 2011. Tech grabbed the decision, 58-47, with three players scoring in double-figures and Mo Bennett contributing a double-double. The teams stood tied on the rebounding battle, each pulling down 41 boards. Tech shot 43.6 percent (24-55) from the field, while limiting MTSU to a 31.3 percent (20-64) clip. The Blue Raiders attempted 25 three-pointers, but converted just four from beyond the arc for a 16.0 percent efficiency.

Georgia Tech dropped just its second game of the season as the Yellow Jackets fell at Alabama last Saturday. Three Jackets scored in double-figures led by Zaire O’Neil with 17 points, but an 11-of-22 effort at the free throw line hindered Tech. Alabama won the rebounding battle, 48-43, including a 17-13 edge in offensive boards. Tech shot 39.7 percent (25-63) from the floor compared to the Crimson Tide’s 33.8 percent (23-68) effort. The Yellow Jackets led for 23:53 minutes of the game, while the Crimson Tide held the advantage for 12:14.
