THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech softball team (19-10) takes a break from ACC action Wednesday with a single game at Kennesaw State (16-14). First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Bailey Park, and admission is $6 for adults and $4 for youths (ages 3-12).

Lexi’s Day – Wednesday’s game at KSU is Lexi’s Day. Come out & support the Alexis Kaiser Foundation as the Marietta Fish Market will provide dinner for a $10 donation, which includes admission to the GT-KSU game at Bailey Softball Complex.

Georgia Tech (19-10)
The Jackets broke a four-game losing streak with a 15-3 run-rule victory against Syracuse in the night cap of a doubleheader Saturday. Georgia Tech is 6-4 in its last 10 games and is 3-2 when playing on the road.
Six Yellow Jackets are hitting above .300 led by freshman Samantha Pierannunzi’s .417 batting average. As a team, Georgia Tech is out-scoring opponents 153-117 and out-hitting the competition 232-201. Senior Ashley Thomas leads the team with 31 runs on 35 hits, while Alysha Rudnik owns 27 RBI and 18 walks to lead the Jackets.
Series History
Wednesday marks the 19th meeting between the two teams. The Jackets split a pair of games against the Owls last season, winning the first meeting 17-3 (5) and losing the second, 9-8.
