GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced its 2013 softball television schedule with the defending ACC champion Yellow Jackets to appear on six regular-season television broadcasts on either the ESPN Networks or ACC Digital Network.
The six television games are the most for Tech in a single regular-season.
The ACC television schedule grew from a record 14 games last season to 27 contests in 2013. For the second straight year, all of the games of the ACC Championship May 9-11 in Tallahassee, Fla. will be televised.
The Yellow Jackets will appear on ESPN3 four times, beginning with the home game against Georgia (March 13) at 7 p.m.
The Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech matchup April 7 will be one of four contests on the ACC entire springs sports schedule to be broadcast on the ACC Digital Network on YouTube.
Game three of Tech’s series at North Carolina on April 22 will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
All three games against Florida State in Tech’s final home series will air on ESPN3.
The Jackets open the season Friday at 3 p.m. against Eastern Michigan.
