Georgia Tech Returns To Atlanta for ACC Series with Virginia

ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech softball team (26-8, 3-0 ACC) will host the University of Virginia (14-9, 1-2 ACC) in a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference series this Saturday-Sunday, at Glenn Field. The Yellow Jackets and Cavaliers will play two games on Saturday and a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Jackets defeated No. 19 Baylor, 8-0, on Tuesday, before dropping a pair of games to No. 3 Texas, 1-0 and 5-3. Tech continues to be the top offensive team in the conference, batting .321 as a team.

UVa has lost four of its last five games, including two of three to Virginia Tech last weekend. The Cavaliers return 2005 ACC Player of the Year Sara Larquier, who is hitting .200, with two home runs and 12 runs batted in.
