THE FLATS- A pair of season highs and a career high headline a strong week in Week 17’s edition of #ProJackets in the National Football League.
Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker had a monster game on Sunday, setting a season high in field goals made and field goals attempted in a single game, along with a career high in total points scored in a single game. Butker went 6-for-6 on field goals and scored an eye-popping 19 total points as the Chiefs defeated the Bengals 25-17 over the weekend.
Darren Waller had another impressive performance this week, hauling in five catches for 51 yards. Waller’s return from injury has been nothing short of impressive, as the eighth-year tight end fell right back into stride once returning to the lineup with catches in every game. The Giants fell to the Rams 26-25 on Sunday.
Offensive guard Shaq Mason played a key role for the Texans this week as they trounced the Titans 26-3. Mason ranks fourth in the NFL in total offensive snaps with 1,076 and has only allowed three sacks this year. Mason hasn’t allowed a sack since Week 13.
Keion White keeps making a name for himself on the Patriots’ front line, and this week was no exception. White made three total tackles, including a solo tackle, and recorded half of a stuff as the Patriots fell to the Bills 27-21.
Cowboys safety Juanyeh Thomas has put together a strong rookie campaign, adding another solo tackle this week with fourteen on the year. The Cowboys defeated the Lions 20-19 on Saturday.
