Lance Terry Joins Orlando Magic in NBA Summer League

Former Yellow Jacket guard, Lance Terry has joined the Orlando Magic during the NBA Summer League. The NBA Summer League kicked off on July 5 with the Salt Lake City Summer League and the California Classic Summer League thereafter. The NBA 2K26 Summer League opened on July 10 in Las Vegas.

Turk Telekom nabs combo guard Michael Devoe

Turk Telekom Ankara announced the signing of combo-guard Michael Devoe for the coming season.
Devoe (1.93 meters, 25 years old) comes off a strong season in Germany with Syntainics MBC. He was the team’s top scorer with 15.9 points per game alongside 3.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 36 appearances. He was also the German Cup MVP after leading the team to the trophy with 27 points in the final.

The season in Germany was Devoe’s first full campaign in Europe after he joined Maccabi Ramat Gan in Israel late in the 2023-24 season. An all-conference performer at Georgia Tech, Devoe began his professional career in the G League in 2022 with the Ontario Clippers. He also played for the Salt Lake City Stars and the Memphis Hustle before joining Ramat Gan. Devoe is set to make his EuroCup debut this season with Turk Telekom.

Marcus Georges-Hunt (6’5” – F – 1994, played in 2012-16, plays pro in Lebanon) was the major contributor in a Al Riyadi’s victory against the closely-ranked Sagesse (17-5) 92-77 in a derby game in the Lebanese LBL last Friday. He scored 20 points in 29 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (16-2) is placed first in the LBL. Georges-Hunt has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.2ppg, 3.6rpg and 2.6apg in 19 games he played so far. Georges-Hunt is a naturalized Virgin Islander.

Michael Devoe (6’5” – G – 1999, played in 2018-22, plays in Puerto Rico) led Leones de Ponce to a victory over the second-ranked Piratas (20-14) 91-85 in the Puerto Rican BSN on Wednesday night. Devoe was MVP of the game. He recorded 23 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it’s only Devoe’s third season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group A. Leones de Ponce (18-16) is placed third. It was his team’s fourth consecutive victory in a row. Devoe has relatively good stats this season 11.2ppg, 4.1rpg and 4.2apg.

Charles Mitchell (6’8”-F/C-1993, played in 2014-16, currently in Mexico) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Gambusinos (2-2) 83-64 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) in Saturday night’s game. Mitchell had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 10 rebounds in 25 minutes. Dorados de Chihuahua (3-1) is placed third in the LNBP. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Mitchell has relatively good stats this year 11.3ppg and 9.0rpg in four games.

  • Joshua Heath (6’1”-PG-1994, played in 2014-17) plays for Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen in Belgian Pro Basketball League
  • Abdoulaye Gueye (6’9”-C-1994, played in 2014-15) played for TED Ankara in Turkish TBL
  • Javian McCollum (6’2”-G-2002, played in 2024-25) signed for ZZ Leiden in Dutch DBL
  • Evan Jester (6’7”-F-1999, played in 2017-19) played for Atlanta Aliens in the ABA
  • Brandon Alston (6’5”-G-1995, played in 2017-19) plays for Hawkes Bay Hawks in New Zealand NBL
  • Khalid Moore (6’7”-F-2000, played in 2018-22) signed for Mykonou in Greek Elite League
  • James Banks III (6’10”-F/C-1998, played in 2018-20) plays for Charlotte Hornets in the NBA Summer League
  • Lance Terry (6’3”-G, played in 2022-25) signed for Orlando Magic in the NBA Summer League
