ATLANTA (Oct. 25) – Georgia Tech football recorded its second individual game sell-out of the season Monday, when school officials declared Saturday’s Georgia Tech-N. C. State football game at Bobby Dodd Stadium officially a sell-out.
The announcement marked the first time a Tech-State football game has been a sellout at Tech’s 46,000-seat Bobby Dodd Stadium. The previous largest crowd for a Tech-State football game in Atlanta was 44,915 in 1997.
The game is now Tech’s second sell-out of the season, joining the Jackets’ Oct. 9 contest with North Carolina in which 46,110 fans jammed Dodd Stadium to witness Tech’s 31-24 overtime victory.
Approximately 400 tickets remain to the Jackets’ Nov. 12 home game with Clemson. At this time, Tech has no tickets remaining for sale for its Nov. 27 season-ending contest with arch-rival Georgia.
