Tech Completes Men’s Hoops Schedule

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech’s Dec. 22 home game against Georgia has been picked up for television coverage on ESPNU with a 12 noon tip time, and the remaining tip times for the Yellow Jackets’ 2018-19 non-conference games have been finalized.

With the Tech-Georgia game on ESPNU, all five of the Jackets’ games against power conference teams will air on one of the ESPN networks – Nov. 13 at Tennessee (9 p.m., ESPN2), Nov. 28 at Northwestern (9 p.m., ESPNU), Dec. 1 vs. St. John’s (12 p.m., ESPNU), Dec. 19 at Arkansas (9 p.m., SEC Network) and Dec. 22 vs. Georgia (12 p.m., ESPNU).

The majority of Tech’s weeknight home non-conference games will tip at 7:30 p.m., beginning with the regular-season opener against Lamar on Nov. 9 and including East Carolina (Nov. 16), Texas-Rio Grande Valley (Nov. 21), Gardner-Webb (Dec. 17) and USC Upstate (Jan. 2).

Tech has scheduled Prairie View A&M on Nov. 23, the day after Thanksgiving, and Kennesaw State, the Friday after Christmas, to tip off at 4 p.m. The Jackets’ Sunday, Dec. 9 game against Florida A&M will tip at 2 p.m. Tech’s Saturday, Nov. 3 exhibition game against Florida Tech will tip at 6 p.m.

All of Tech’s non-conference games, with the exception of the five against the power conference teams, will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra, the ACC’s digital channel.

Tech opens its ACC slate at home against Wake Forest on Saturday, Jan. 5. All 135 ACC regular-season league games and all 14 games of the New York Life ACC Tournament will be available on an ESPN network, Raycom, CBS Sports, Regional Sports Networks (RSN), or ACC Network. The ACC’s Regional Sports Networks for the 2018-19 season is comprised of FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Florida, FOX Sports Sun, FOX Sports Midwest, FOX Sports Indiana, NESN, YES Network, AT&T SPORTSNET Pittsburgh and NBC Sports Washington.

Season tickets remain available for the 2018-19 men’s home schedule, starting at $290, which is less than $15 per game. Other great benefits of purchasing season tickets include participating in an exclusive season ticket holder event with Coach Pastner and the team, priority access to purchase single-game and postseason tickets, season parking options and more.
