Ertan & Bradescu Head to NCAA Women's Championships

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech swim and dive’s Deniz Ertan and Anna Bradescu are set to compete at the NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships from Wednesday, March 15 to Saturday, March 18 in Knoxville, Tenn.

Ertan was selected to compete in the women’s 500 free, 400 IM and 1650 free based on her performances in the events throughout the season. Bradescu earned her spot in the women’s platform event last week at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships.

CHAMPIONSHIPS SCHEDULE
*Events with Tech athletes only
Thursday, March 16: 500 Free (Prelims at 10 a.m. & Finals at 6 p.m.)
Friday, March 17: 400 IM (Prelims at 10 a.m. & Finals at 6 p.m.)
Saturday, March 18: Platform (Prelims at 10 a.m. & Finals at 6 p.m.) & 1650 Free (Finals at 6 p.m.)

Both athletes rank nationally in their respective events and recorded successful performances at the ACC Championships.

Ertan ranks fifth (tied) in the women’s 500 free, sixth in the 1650 free and 24th in the 400 IM. At the conference meet, the freshman championed the 1650, 500 free and qualified for the ‘A’ final of the 400 IM.

Bradescu ranks sixth in the nation for the women’s platform. At the ACC Championships, she represented Tech well with a fourth-place overall finish in the event.

Watch & Live Stream Info (WOMEN): ESPN+ will provide live digital coverage for preliminary and finals sessions Wednesday through Saturday. Tape-delayed coverage of the women’s championships will be via ESPNU at 8:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 29.
