Elder scored 23 of his 25 points in the second half. He went 7-for-10 from the field, including 4-for-6 on three-pointers, and 7-for-7 from the free throw line.

He scored 10 points and had five rebounds in Tech’s 86-78 victory at Florida State on Saturday. Elder averaged 17.5 points and 4.5 rebounds last week. He shot 58 percent (11-of-19) from the field, 5-of-9 nine from three-point range, and 89 percent (8-of-9) at the free throw line.

Elder is averaging 9.9 points per game overall and 10.9 points per game against the ACC this season. In conference games, he has shot 40.7 percent from three-point range and 83.3 percent from the free throw line.
