GREENSBORO, N.C. – Georgia Tech sophomore Derrick Morgan was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Lineman of the Week the league office announced this afternoon.

Morgan, a Coatsville, Pa. native, had career-highs of four tackles-for-loss and 2.5 sacks in Saturday win against Gardner-Webb at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Morgan, who had seven solo tackles, spearheaded a defensive effort that allowed Tech to hold Gardner-Webb to seven points and just 74 yards rushing.
