Day 2 Complete at NCAA Swim & Dive Championship

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Georgia Tech senior Andrew Kosic finished 27th overall in the 100 fly on Friday night as action continued at the NCAA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championship at the University of Iowa.

Kosic put down a time of 46.73 in the prelims on Friday afternoon, but did not advance to Friday night’s finals.

Tech’s 800 free relay was also in action on Friday, but the Yellow Jackets were disqualified for an early take off during the event.

Saturday is the final day of the event and Kosic is scheduled to swim the 100 free, diver Brad Homza will compete on the platform and Tech’s 400 free relay will also be in action.

With 14 points to its credit, Georgia Tech sits in 24th-place in the team standings.
