Coming off of a decisive win over Hairy Dawg of Georgia, Buzz heads into week three with a 2-0 record and over 250,000 votes cast in his favor thanks in part to the Georgia Tech fans.

Week three will see Buzz’ toughest opponent yet as he will face off against The Duck from Oregon, who enters the bout with a 2-0 record of his own.

Last week, against Hairy Dawg, Buzz jumped out to an early lead and carried that momentum into his second-straight victory. The winning energy was carried onto the volleyball court where the Yellow Jackets took down Georgia in straight sets on Friday night in front of a sold out crowd.

It also traveled up 75 to Murfreesboro where the football team earned their second victory of the year, this time over Middle Tennessee State. Like Buzz, the Jackets have outscored their opponents by a large margin each week.

“I am so happy that the Tech fans came out and voted even more for me in this second week,” said Buzz through his translator. (This translator is getting a lot of action this season) “I really need the Tech fans to vote every day for me however they can and get the word out because I have a tough opponent in The Duck this week!”

Georgia Tech and Oregon have never met on the gridiron, but the Jackets have faced off against Pac-12 opponents Arizona, California, USC, Stanford and Utah a total of 15 times since the program began in 1892.

There are many reasons NOT to vote for The Duck… here are a few.

• The Duck has only totaled about half of the votes that Buzz has in the first two weeks.
• Oregon’s mascot is named “The Duck”. That’s not even a real mascot name.
• Buzz’ stinger makes him a far superior opponent in battle than the quacking and waddling that The Duck would bring to battle.
• Doesn’t The Duck realize that it is cold in Oregon in the winter… he should have already headed south.

And remember, vote for Buzz!
