Week 11 saw yet ANOTHER easy victory for Buzz who faced off against Cy of Iowa State and defeated him by nearly 200,000 votes. Buzz went over the 100,000 mark for the tenth time in 11 weeks and for the sixth-straight week. The only week Buzz didn’t receive over 100,000 votes was week five.
With this victory, Buzz will improve to 11-0 on the year and will still sit in first place ahead of Wolfie, Jr. who has shocked War Eagle nation with what looks like a win over Aubie of Auburn.
Week 12, is the FINAL week of regular season Capital One Bowl competition will pit Buzz against Mike the Tiger from LSU. Mike currently is sitting in 12th place with a 2-8 record and 322,152 total votes over the first 10 weeks of the competition. This week, Mike took on Big Red of Western Kentucky and looks like he might get the win 11,500-7,500. Such BIG numbers….
Another thing to keep in the back of your mind is that though Buzz has enough votes to assure himself a No. 1 ranking in the playoffs, voting for Wolfie, Jr.’s opponent will help Buzz to truly solidify that spot! This week, Wolfie is taking on Boomer from Oklahoma which most likely will be an easy victory for the Nevada mascot. Vote for Boomer to ensure Buzz of the first place seed and knock Wolfie down a peg entering playoffs.
Now why you should vote for Buzz (as if you needed any more reasons):
• Though Mike may not be the number one mascot in this competition (that honor goes to Buzz) it would be nice to beat the mascot of the No.1 football team in the country.
• Keep Buzz undefeated during the regular season! Just one more week to go. You Tech fans have been so supportive throughout the first 11 weeks, keep this support coming in the final week and then into the PLAYOFFS!
