THE FLATS –Georgia Tech track and field seniorwas named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Track Performer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. It marks the second career weekly award for Lasater.
Friday at the Alabama Relays, Lasater opened the 2015 outdoor schedule in style with a first-place finish in the 1,500 meters. He crossed the line in a time of 3:47.17 for the fastest time in the ACC over the weekend by just under two seconds.
The Jackets continue outdoor competition this weekend March 27-28 when they host the Yellow Jacket Invitational at Griffin Track.
