Baseball to Play Boston College at 3 p.m.

March 15, 2009

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech and Boston College will play a single game at 3 p.m. today (Sunday), after being postponed for nearly four hours due to rain in the Atlanta area.

The teams were forced to postpone Saturday’s game due to the storms and were scheduled to play a doubleheader Sunday, but because of lingering storms the two teams will now play just one game.

Because of Boston College’s travel plans, no inning will be started after 5:40 p.m.

The final game of the series will not be made up. Georgia Tech will attempt to add a couple of non-conference games as the season progresses to make up for the games cancelled due to rain and snow already this year.
