Yellow Jackets To Host Selection Show Watch Party

Head Coach MaChelle Joseph and the Georgia Tech women’s basketball team invite fans to attend an NCAA Selection Show Watch Party, Monday, March 12.

The event will be held in the lobby of the Edge Building (150 Bobby Dodd Way) and will begin at 6:15 p.m., with an autograph signing at 6:25. The Selection Show will be aired live on ESPN beginning at 7 p.m.

The Yellow Jackets are expected to earn their school-record sixth straight NCAA Tournament at-large berth. Georgia Tech is ranked No. 15 in the latest Associated Press poll and 13th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll after making a run to the ACC Championship Game.

Georgia Tech is currently 24-8 and has tied the program-record for most wins in a season. The Jackets set program-bests with 12 ACC wins and a tie for third place in the conference.

Sasha Goodlett and Tyaunna Marshall were both named to the All-ACC Second Team and the ACC All-Tournament First Team. Sydney Wallace was selected to the All-Freshman Team and senior Metra Walthour was named to the ACC All-Tournament Second Team.
