ATLANTA – Rising Georgia Tech senior Danielle Hamilton-Carter has earned a spot on the Swedish National Team which will be competing for a spot in the 2013 EuroBasket European Championships this summer.
The Sweden team is playing in group D along with Germany, Spain, Romania and Bulgaria, and has eight games scheduled in June and early July, with the top two teams earning a spot in next year’s championships to be held in France.
Sweden will begin play June 13 against Romania in Targoviste, Romania. The Swedish team will play its first home game against the group D favorite, Spain, June 16. The full Swedish schedule is below. Full tournament information can be found at www.eurobasketwomen2013.com.
