Women’s Tennis Set for ITA Kickoff Weekend

THE FLATS – No. 12 Georgia Tech women’s tennis opens its home slate this weekend, hosting the ITA Kickoff Weekend at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.

THE SCENE
Georgia Tech (0-0) welcomes No. 14 Michigan (2-0), Ole Miss (2-0) and Old Dominion (1-0) to the Ken Byers Tennis Complex for an action-filled weekend. Featuring a competitive field, this weekend’s teams carry 11 ranked singles players in the latest ITA rankings and three ranked doubles teams.

The 13th annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kickoff Weekend takes place Jan. 28-31 at 15 different campus sites. The winner at each site will earn an automatic berth into the National Women’s Team Indoor Championships, which will take place Feb. 11-14 in Madison, Wisc., at the University of Wisconsin.

ATTENDANCE
Entry into the Ken Byers Tennis Complex this weekend is free. While on the campus of Georgia Tech, fans are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings when inside campus facilities.

PARKING
Saturday – Parking is available for spectators in the Family Housing Deck located on 10th Street across from the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.

Sunday – Parking is available for spectators in the Family Housing Deck located on 10th Street across from the Ken Byers Tennis Complex. Additional parking will be made available on Fowler Street and in the McCamish Pavilion Lot.
