THE FLATS – After collecting a road win at Chattanooga, Georgia Tech women’s tennis returns home to host Mercer on Monday. First serve at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex is slated for 5 p.m.
The Yellow Jackets (2-3) look to extend its win streak to three matches on Monday evening and collect their second home win of the season. Tech is coming off a sweep of Chattanooga last week. The Jackets took every court in both doubles and singles for its first road win of the season.
Mercer (5-4) has won five of the last seven matches, most recently coming off a 6-1 win over Georgia College. Prior to, the Bears hosted in-state rivals, Georgia State and Kennesaw State, dropping both meetings.
Georgia Tech and Mercer are meeting for the seventh time in program history on Monday. The Yellow Jackets lead the all-time series, 6-0, with the last meetings taking place in 2020 at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.
