Women’s Tennis Readies for John Cade Invitational

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s tennis will wrap-up the fall portion of its schedule this weekend, competing in the John Cade Invitational on the campus of Mississippi State, Nov. 5-7.

Tech joins a field of seven teams including Denver, Louisville, Memphis, Ole Miss, Xavier and host Mississippi State. The three-day tournament will utilize all 12 courts between the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre (outdoor) and the Rula Tennis Pavilion (indoor). Competition will begin at 10 a.m. EST each day.

Georgia Tech will be represented by Kylie Bilchev, Gia Cohen, Monika Dedaj, Rosie Garcia Gross, Ava Hrastar, Mahak Jain, Carol Lee, Sophia Sassoli and Kate Sharabura.

Freshmen Bilchev and Sharabura will look to continue their impressive collegiate debuts, owning a combined 12-3 fall singles record. Bilchev and Hrastar are both coming off runs to the ITA Southeast Regionals round of 16 in both singles and doubles. The pair have combined this fall to post a 4-1 record.
