Women's Tennis Concludes Action at the ITA South Regional Championship

Tuscaloosa, Ala. – Georgia Tech women’s tennis concluded action at the ITA South Regional Championships in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Kristi Miller fell in the Round of 16, while Lyndsay Shosho was defeated in the Consolation Bracket.

Miller, the seventh seed, faced off against the second seeded Robin Stephenson of Alabama. Miller took the first set 7-6 (4), but then fell in the next two sets 6-2, 6-2. The freshman is currently 18-2 in the fall season.

In consolation action, Shosho lost a heartbreaker to Dijana Stanic of South Alabama. Stanic claimed the first set 7-6 with Shosho taking the second set 6-4. In the final set, Shosho battled but fell in a tiebreaker 12-10 to take a 7-6 loss.
