2. Georgia Tech has taken six of the past seven meetings between the squads and currently rides a three-game win streak over the Eagles entering Thursday. The Yellow Jackets lead the all-time series 9-5, but trail when competing in Boston, 2-4.
3. Georgia Tech looks to snap a two-game skid at Boston College on Thursday, having dropped both its ACC games to open league play. In MaChelle Joseph’s era, the Jackets have only opened the conference season 0-2 four times (including this season) and 0-3 just twice.
4. Freshman Francesca Pan was two points shy of matching her career-high against Duke, finishing with a team-best 23 points. For her performance against the Blue Devils, the Italian native picked up ACC Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season.
5. Head coach MaChelle Joseph is in her 14th season on The Flats and carries an all-time career record of 263-166. Joseph is the all-time winningest coach in program history and holds the highest winning percentage in Yellow Jacket history at 61.6 percent.

Georgia Tech captured its third straight win over Boston College last season in McCamish Pavilion. The Eagles outshot the Yellow Jackets, 50.0 percent to 35.1 percent, but Tech’s 16-of-25 effort at the free throw line sealed the win. BC was limited to a 6-of-8 showing from the charity stripe. In addition, Tech out-rebounded BC 37-27 led by Katarina Vuckovic’s double-double of 10 rebounds and a team-best 18 points. Vuckovic tallied 18 points by matching her career-high hitting four three-pointers against the Eagles. Chelsea Guimaraes and Imani Tilford each earned the start against the Eagles, while returners Vuckovic, Simina Avram, Zaire O’Neil and Antonia Peresson all saw playing time against BC.

The Yellow Jackets played its second nationally-ranked team in as many games to open ACC play, falling to No. 13/15 Duke, 75-68. Freshman Francesca Pan was two points shy of matching her career-high, scoring a team-best 23 points behind a 4-of-7 effort from three point range. Pan nearly missed a double-double, pulling down a career-high and team-best nine rebounds as the Jackets won the battle on the glass, 34-32. Kaylan Pugh had a breakout performance, pouring in 17 points to set a personal-best since arriving at Georgia Tech. Pugh was 8-of-9 from the field and finished with six rebounds and five steals. Duke shot 54.0 percent from the field to seal the win.
