THE FLATS – Members of the Georgia Tech women’s basketball team have been getting Chillin 4 Charity this summer. Assistant coaches Deja Foster, M.L. Willis and Michael Wholey, director of basketball operations Catherine Greene and rising sophomore Kaela Davis all participated in the #Chillin4Charity challenge to raise money for the Kay Yow Foundation.
The #Chillin4Charity campaign is a social media cold water challenge that started at the University of Arizona and has spread around the country. A coach or student-athlete calls out another coach or student-athlete on social media to get soaked and “Chill for Charity”. The rules for the challenge can be found at the bottom of the article.
