Women's 4x100 Relay Team Advances To Finals at NCAA Track & Field Championships

AUSTIN, Texas – The women’s 4×100-meter relay team of Dana Rogers, Ashlee Kidd, Andriane Lapsley and Amandi Rhett qualified for the finals of the relay event with a time of 44.25 on Wednesday night at the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Championships.

The national championship meet has been suspended due to inclement weather and will continue on Thursday, June 10.

Rogers, Kidd, Lapsley and Rhett finished in seventh place in the 4×100. The finals of the relay event are scheduled for 8 p.m. on Friday night.

A new schedule for the track and field meet will be posted on NCAA Track & Field Championships later tonight.

Revised Schedule for Tech athletes — prelims
Thursday, June 10
100m — Rhett — 6:20 p.m.
110m — Hurdles — Person — 7:30 p.m.
200m — Rhett — 8:15 p.m.
Men’s High Jump — Massey — 8 p.m.
1500m — Mahoney — 9:15 p.m.

Friday, June 11
Triple Jump — Depland — 7:15 p.m.
400m — Kidd – 9:20 p.m.
