Williams Finishes Indoor Career on Day One of NCAAs

Final Results

Birmingham, ALA. — On day one of the NCAA Indoor Championships the Georgia Tech track and field team saw Jeanine Williams perform in the women’s 60 meter hurdles event.

Williams would finish with a time of 8.22, finishing in 15th and will not advance to tomorrow’s final.

“Unfortunately Jeanine wasn’t able to make her way into the final,” said women’s track and field head coach Alan Drosky.  “She’s had an extraordinary indoor career and represented our program in a champion fashion. She’ll turn her focus now to the outdoor season with some great energy.”

Tomorrow, Bria Matthews will compete in the women’s triple jump at 3:30 p.m.
