CLEMSON, S.C. – Junior Jewel Welch led the Georgia Tech women’s track and field team at the Orange & Purple Classic with a third-place finish in the shot put on Saturday night.
Welch tallied a mark of 42 feet in the shot put.
Senior Dore’ Madere finished third in the women’s discus with a toss of 145 feet, 8 inches.
