Watkins, Reese, Joseph to Appear on Sports Unlimited This Week

Georgia Tech football standout Kerry Watkins will be Matt Stewart’s guest on Sports Unlimited on Monday night, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m., while Tech assistant basketball coaches Willie Reese and MaChelle Joseph will appear on Wednesday’s show.

Sports Unlimited is a live, one-hour, interview/viewer call-in show, every weeknight at 7 p.m. on TV33 (AT&T Broadband Cable), Atlanta’s Hometown Television.

Watkins, a senior from LaPlace La., is Tech’s leading receiver and an all-ACC candidate with 61 catches for 907 yards and three touchdowns.

The Jackets (7-4 overall, 4-4 ACC) are off this week as they prepare for their regular season finale against Georgia on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 3:30 p.m. at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga.

Reese, a former Tech letterman, is in his fourth season as a member of the Rambling Wreck coaching staff. Coach Paul Hewitt’s Yellow Jackets play their final exhibition game Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. against Nike Elite before opening the regular season Saturday, when they host Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 2 p.m. at Alexander Memorial Coliseum at McDonald’s Center.

The Tech women’s have already opened their season with an appearance in the preseason Women’s National Invitation Tournament. The Jackets defeated Charlotte before falling to fifth-ranked Kansas State. Their play next on Nov. 26, hosting Long Island at 7 p.m. at Alexander Memorial Coliseum.

Joseph is in her second season on head coach Agnus Berenato’s staff.
