After finishing the first half of its Atlantic Coast Conference schedule with an 8-0 record, the Georgia Tech (13-5) volleyball team steps out of conference action and travels to Georgia State (8-12) Tuesday to take on the Panthers (4-3) at 7 p.m. in the Georgia State Sports Arena.
Tech holds a 29-3 record against Georgia State. Tech has won the last five meetings with the Panthers, including a 3-0 victory in 2003 in O’Keefe Gymnasium.
“In our match tomorrow, we really want to continue to work on our team’s ability to execute offensively,” said head coach Bond Shymansky. “Our passing focus needs to be maintained throughout a match which would then allow us to execute our offense. Obviously, we want to win but more importantly we want to make sure that our system is working the way that we want it to.”
