THE FLATS – Georgia Tech volleyball continues its nonconference slate this weekend as the Jackets travel to San Diego, Calif. to compete in the USD Tournament at the Jenny Craig Pavilion on Sept. 1 and 2.
Georgia Tech (2-2) is coming off of a two-match win streak. The Jackets recorded their first win of the season over then-No. 17 Michigan State before sweeping North Dakota to close out opening weekend. At the USD Tournament, Tech continues to be tested, facing No. 17 San Diego (2-1) on Friday before taking on No. 4 Texas (1-1) and Villanova (3-0) on Friday.
It is the first trip to California for the Jackets since 2009 when they competed in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Los Angeles. The last time Tech competed in San Diego was during the 2001 NCAA Tournament.

Saturday, Sept. 2

8:00 p.m. ET – Georgia Tech vs. Villanova
