Two Jackets Tally NCAA Region Marks at Cardinal Invitational

PALO ALTO, Calif. – Senior Brendon Mahoney and junior Neil McDonagh posted NCAA Region qualifying times in the 1500 meters Friday night at the Cardinal Invitational. Mahoney posted a Tech season-best time of 3:42.92 in the 1500 to lead the men’s track and field team.

McDonagh tallied his first NCAA Region mark of the season with a personal-best time of 3:46.15 to pace the Yellow Jackets.

The men’s and women’s track and field teams will return to action next Saturday, May 8, at the Orange and Purple Classic in Clemson, S.C.
