TV, Radio Coverage for Tech-UConn

ATLANTA– – Sixteenth-ranked Georgia Tech steps out of conference play to host Connecticut Saturday at 6:45 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium/Grant Field in a game that will be nationally-televised on ESPNU.

ESPNU is available primarily through Direct-TV as well as on selected cable systems around the nation. Fans should check with their local cable or satellite provider for availability. The announcers are Mike Adamle and Charles Arbuckle.

Radio coverage for the Tech-Connecticut game is available on the Georgia Tech-ISP Radio network, including Atlanta flagship station WQXI-AM 790 the Zone. FM coverage in the Atlanta area is available on WREK-FM (91.1). A complete list of radio affiliates carrying the game is below.

Wes Durham is in his 11th season as the Voice of the Yellow Jackets. He is joined in the booth by Atlanta Falcons legend Jeff Van Note, while former Tech and NFL quarterback Rick Strom joins the broadcast team this season as the sideline reporter.

Pregame coverage begins at 4:45 p.m. with Yellow Jacket Countdown featuring Durham and Director of Athletics Dave Braine.

The Tech radio broadcast is also available on satellite radio on XM Channel 191.

Tech fans can preview Saturday’s game beginning Thursday with the Chan Gailey Call-In Show from 12-1 p.m. ET on WQXI-AM 790 the Zone, as well as selected affiliates around the state.

“Georgia Tech Sports Today with Chan Gailey,” the weekly half-hour television program featuring the Tech head coach, can be seen at the following times:

Friday, 12:30 p.m., Fox Sports Net South

Friday, 5:30 p.m., Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS)

Saturday, 11 a.m., WAGA-TV Fox 5

A television replay of the game, featuring former Tech all-America quarterback Joe Hamilton as the color analyst, will be shown on CSS-TV at the following times:
