THE FLATS – Head coach Paul Johnson, senior defensive back D.J. White and redshirt junior quarterback Justin Thomas will represent the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at the 2015 ACC Football Kickoff. This year’s #ACCKickoff will be held July 19-21 at the Pinehurst Resort at the Village of Pinehurst, N.C.
Coverage of the 2015 event will include live video streams on ESPN3 and theACC.com as well as and social media coverage using the #ACCKickoff hashtag. Georgia Tech and ACC fans can watch live coverage of student-athletes interviews on Monday, July 20, from 2-5 p.m. and head coach interviews on Tuesday, July 21, from 8:15-11:45 a.m. On-demand viewing of #ACCKickoff coverage will also be available.
The official Twitter hashtag for the 2015 ACC Football Kickoff is #ACCKickoff. Official tweets will include this hashtag, and all media and fans are also asked to use it in their tweets related to the event. Georgia Tech Football’s official Twitter account (@GeorgiaTechFB) will have constant updates, videos and photos throughout #ACCKickoff. The @GTAthletics Instagram and Facebook pages will also feature highlights from the Jackets’ trip to Pinehurst.
The ACCDN will provide comprehensive & entertaining video-on-demand coverage of the event viewable on theACC.com, the ACC mobile and tablet app, as well as various streaming and connected mobile and TV devices such as Amazon Fire, Apple TV and Roku. The 2015 ACC Football Preseason Poll, as selected by the members of the media attending the ACC Football Kickoff, will be announced at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21. The 2015 ACC Football Preseason All-ACC Team, as selected by the members of the media attending the ACC Football Kickoff, will be announced on Thursday, July 23.
Georgia Tech opens the 2015 season Sept. 3 against Alcorn State (7:30 p.m. ET, RSN). 2015 Georgia Tech season tickets are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets in person at the Georgia Tech Ticket Office (M-F 9 a.m.-5 p.m.), by phone at 888-TECH-TIX, or online at togetherweswarm.com. Season tickets for Tech’s seven-game home schedule start at just $245 – a value of $35 per game. Great lower-level seats are available from $350. There is no per-game ticket or Tech Fund price increase in 2015. The only difference is the addition of a seventh home game (Georgia).
