Travel Options Available for Charleston Classic

Charleston, S.C. – Travel options are now available to follow the Georgia Tech men’s basketball team as it plays in the Charleston Classic tournament scheduled to be played Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 17-20 in Charleston, S.C.

The Yellow Jackets join an elite eight-team field which includes LSU, Northwestern, Saint Joseph’s, Seton Hall, Tulsa, Virginia Commonwealth and Western Kentucky. Each team will play three games over the course of four days in a bracket-style tournament at Carolina First Arena. There is an off day on Saturday, Nov. 19.

Discounted hotel accommodations and game tickets are being offered to Georgia Tech fans through Anthony Travel, the official travel provider of the Charleston Classic. Georgia Tech has enjoyed success in several November events in recent years, including the 2006 EA Sports Maui Invitational, the 2007 Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands, the 2009 Puerto Rico Tip-Off, the 2010 Legends Classic and the 2010 Battle At Atlantis, compiling a 10-4 record in those events.
