THE FLATS – Georgia Tech track & field will compete at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships from Thursday to Saturday.
At the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships, Tech had six All-ACC performers coming from John Watkins (triple jump), Olivia Moore (pole vault), Shanty Papakosta (high jump), Taylor Grimes (60 hurdles), Zach Jaeger (Mile) and Nicole Fegans (3000m). Fegans performance won the ACC title in that event.
Tech will have seven athletes competing in events where they rank in the top 10 in conference. Carla duPlessis (third, high jump), Papakosta (third, high jump), Fegans (third, 5000m), Moore (fifth, pole vault), Grimes (seventh, 100 hurdles), Lydia Troupe (eighth, 400 hurdles) and Watkins (ninth, triple jump).
