THE FLATS — The Georgia Tech track and field team will host the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Griffin Track and Field Facility.
Last weekend, Amy Ruiz, Hana Herndon, Nicole Fegans, Liz Galarza, Annie Gallagher, and Avery Bartlett traveled to Ole Miss to participate in the Joe Walker Invitational.
Ruiz led the way for the Jackets as she turned in a second place finish with a personal-best time of 4:22.65.
Action in the Georgia Tech Invitational will begin at 11 a.m. with the men’s and women’s hammer throw and marks the second home meet this season.
