CLEMSON, S.C. – Georgia Tech track and field is back in action for the Bob Pollock Invitational on Jan. 25 – 26 and marks the second time in three weeks the Jackets will compete in Clemson.
A total of 46 student-athletes will be making the trip, including men’s track senior Avery Bartlett who broke current women’s track and field head coach, Alan Drosky’s, school record in the 1000m event (2:22.49), the last time he was in Clemson.
Last week, the Jackets competed in the Nashville Invitational and broke 25 PR’s including Anthony Brooks, who finished eighth in the men’s 400 with a career-best time of 47.76.
The Jackets will begin their field and running events at 3 p.m. on Jan. 25 and will compete with in-state rival, Georgia throughout the weekend.
