THE FLATS – Georgia Tech volleyball rising senior Teegan Van Gunst travels to Indianapolis, Ind. June 21-30 to train and compete as part of the U.S. Collegiate National Team – Indianapolis program.

Via USA Volleyball, the collegiate squad is part of USA Volleyball’s High Performance pipeline and is considered a second tryout for the U.S. Women’s National Team. After the program is divided into three 12-player rosters from the training portion, the competition phase, involving a round-robin tournament of the three squads, will take place June 26-29 under the same roof as the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships.
During the 2015 season, Van Gunst became the first Yellow Jacket to earn All-ACC first-team, AVCA All-Region and AVCA All-America honorable mention honors since in 2012. Van Gunst led the ACC in kills (471) and kills per set (3.92) at the end of the regular season. Her 471 kills are the most by a Yellow Jacket since Mead put down 459 in 2012.
Van Gunst started all 120 sets this season and scored 20 double-doubles. She tallied 25 matches with 10+ kills, and 23 matches with 10+ digs.
