Tech's Wrights Victorious at South Carolina Tennis Invitational

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Oct. 24) – Georgia Tech’s brother tandem of Robert and David Wright captured the A-2b doubles title, and both won their respective singles consolation finals Sunday on the last day of South Carolina Fall Invitational at the Columbia Tennis Center in Columbia, S.C.

The Wrights defeated Brochu and Perez-Gras of Georgia State, 8-3, in doubles.

David, a redshirt freshman, defeated Chad Riley of North Carolina, 6-3, 6-3 to win the A-1a singles consolation, and Robert, a senior, downed Scott Mayer of Purdue, 6-2, 6-1, in the B-1b singles consolation.
