Nov. 23, 2003

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech junior Kyle Rabbitt will compete in the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday at the Byres Park/Irv Warren Memorial Golf Course in Waterloo, Iowa. The Championships are hosted by Northern Iowa and will be broadcast on tape-delay by Fox Sports South.

Rabbitt earned all-region honors with a fourth-place finish in the NCAA South Regional in a time of 30:25.11 to advance to the Championships. He was one of 38 individuals to qualify for the race as a total of 255 competitors will be running the ten-kilometer event.

After beginning the season as the second Tech finisher at the Wake Forest Alumni Invitational, Rabbitt led Tech in each of his next three races.
