Tech's Cave Travels to USA Outdoor Junior Track and Field National Championships

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s Juan Cave will compete at the USA Outdoor Junior Track and Field National Championships, June 21-25, at the IU Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium on the campus of IUPUI.

The top two finishers from each event will qualify for the IAAF World Junior Championships in Beijing, China, Aug. 15-20.

Cave, a freshman from Vorhees, N.J., qualified for the USA Junior National Championships in the men’s high jump. He finished the outdoor season with a top mark of 6 feet, 11 ¾ inches, at the Georgia Tech Invitational and will compete at 10:30 a.m. ET on Thursday.
