Tech's Brendon Mahoney Selected ACC Indoor Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Georgia Tech’s Brendon Mahoney was selected as the ACC Male Indoor Track and Field Performer of the Week, announced by the league office.

Mahoney compiled the conference’s fastest time in the men’s mile this past weekend at the Meyo Invitational in South Bend, Ind. The senior from Cumming, Ga. crossed the finish line in eighth place with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 4:02.32. It is Mahoney’s second NCAA provisional time this season and first in the mile.

Mahoney and the Yellow Jackets will travel to Clemson, S.C. for the Tiger Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14.
