ATLANTA — The fourth-seeded Georgia Tech women’s tennis team will look to continue its solid 2003 campaign on Friday when it faces fifth-seeded Virginia in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament at 9 a.m. The four-day tournament is being held in conjunction with the men’s tournament at the Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center in Raleigh, N.C.
The Yellow Jackets (13-5, 5-3 ACC) won this year’s regular season meeting with the Cavaliers (14-8, 4-4 ACC) by a 4-3 score in Charlottesville on March 28 and have now won the last four match-ups against Uva.

Wong finished the regular season with a 12-5 dual-match record and a team-best 24-8 overall singles record. Wong also teamed with Anderson to form the Jackets’ top doubles team, as the duo finished with a team-best 13-5 record this season.
Morris capped the regular season with a 9-2 dual-match record and a solid 20-7 overall singles mark. She has won her last five singles matches, while moving into the middle of the Tech lineup.
Anderson emerged as one of the top newcomers in the ACC after arriving on campus in January. She recorded a 13-4 overall singles record, while playing primarily at the No. 3 spot in the singles lineup. Anderson is currently ranked 45th in the country in doubles with partner Jaime Wong.
