Tech Women's Basketball to Host Coaches Clinic

ATLANTA – Head coach MaChelle Joseph and the Georgia Tech women’s basketball coaching staff will host a fall coaches clinic Saturday, Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Alexander Memorial Coliseum.

The event will feature presentations by Lin Dunn, an assistant coach for the WNBA’s Indianapolis Fever and former head coach at Purdue, Miami, Mississippi and Austin Peay, as well as the WNBA’s Seattle Storm; Gene Durden, the coach at Buford High School who took his Dade County High School teams to the state tournament 13 of his 14 years as head coach; and Robert Westbrook, the head coach at Etowah High, where he has won over 300 games while taking his team to the state tournament on 13 occasions.

The clinic session also includes a round-table discussion led by the Georgia Tech coaching staff, as well as the opportunity to observe a Georgia Tech women’s basketball practice and attend a Georgia Tech football game.

Lunch will be provided by the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, while gifts are furnished by Anaconda Sports, INC.
